Meet our practitioners

  • My journey here has been long. Starting in 2005 aspiring to be a RN only to move away from Western health care in 2010. A few years later experienced a life changing and tragic loss that left me lost and feeling hopeless. But behind every dark cloud is new light and it pointed me towards Ayurveda. After 5 years of studying Ayurveda I moved into TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine). I have been studying for 3 years and will be writing my board exams in April 2025. I am not able to puncture below the skin with needles until that time, but we have so many modalities that we have to offer you. Natural healing has completely transformed me physically, mentally and emotionally. I look forward to helping facilitate you on your journey to wellness.

We look forward to facilitating you on your journey to wellness.

Welcome to the Rustic Room, a tranquil and safe place to relax, rewind and rejuvenate. We offer service in natural and holistic medicine. Treatment plans are specific to each individual and start with an intake process where your constitution and disease process are carefully analysed to come to a clear diagnosis. Here at the Rustic Room we treat each person and their needs uniquely. No two people are the same, and no two diseases come from the same root. We look to find the root of your issues and then come up with a treatment plan to treat the branches of the disease (symptoms) as well a treatment plan to treat the root (the cause of disease).

Acupuncture, cupping, herb/diet therapy, reflexology, and  more.

Rustic Room most popular services

Acupuncture - The strategic placement of Filiform needles below the skin in certain acupoints to treat the root and branch of dis’ease”. We use points to treat the symptoms and the cause of the disease. Electro-pressure acupuncture available until April 2025

Cupping/Guasha/Tuina -
Suction/fire or plastic cupping, guasha is scrapping typically done with a jade stone and tuina is Chinese medical massage. All 3 modalities are used to treat muscular skeletal diseases and regular aches and pains associated with use.

Reflexology -
Practitioners go through a series of pressure movements to either the feet (most common), hands or head/face. Each pressure point relates directly to a part or organ of the body and facilitates healing and energy movement through the corresponding body part/organ. Deeply relaxing.

Reiki Energy Healing -
Hands on energy treatment that is not only deeply relaxing but healing on an energetic and physical basis. Reconnect your mind body and soul!

Ionic Foot Bath - Positively charged ions from the foot bath, enter through the thousands of pores in the feet attaching to negatively charged toxic ions that accumulate in the body, and neutralize . The results are based on the accumulations in your body from brown/green/black detoxing the liver and gallbladder to orange detoxing the joints and many others
